Rampart (Koyukon: Dleł Taaneets) is a census-designated place (CDP) in the Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area of the U.S. state of Alaska. Situated on the south bank of the Yukon River, it is approximately 100 miles (160 km) northwest of Fairbanks. Once a booming gold-rush town that nearly became one of Alaska's largest cities, it is today a quiet Gwich'in and Koyukon Athabascan community known for its literary history and subsistence lifestyle.
