Welcome to Beaver: Ts’aahudaaneekk’onh Denh
Beaver (Gwich'in: Ts’aahudaaneekk’onh Denh) is a census-designated place (CDP) in the Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area of the U.S. state of Alaska. Located on the north bank of the Yukon River, approximately 110 miles (180 km) north of Fairbanks, it is unique among Alaskan villages for its multicultural founding by Japanese, Iñupiat, and Athabascan pioneers. It lies within the Yukon Flats National Wildlife Refuge.
